Murphy & McGonigle, P.C. has hired Andrew Melnick as a shareholder in its New York office.
Melnick, who was most recently the chief litigation counsel at RCS Capital Corporation (now Aretec Group), will advise hedge funds, investment advisors, investment banks and asset managers with regards to litigation and arbitration, internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, employment matters and compliance review.
“Andy is an excellent lawyer who will make a great addition to our firm,” said James Murphy, Chairman of Murphy & McGonigle.
Prior to RCS Capital Corporation, Melnick also was deputy general counsel, head of retail litigation at UBS Financial Services.
